Based at Rugby Track, the Men’s Running Group was formed in spring 2014. The group aims to encourage and support men of all ages, from complete beginners to intermediate runners, to run together, get fitter and get to know other runners.
Beginners group
Our latest 16 week men’s Get Running 0-5K group started on 16th March 2019. The course, led by experienced running group leaders, is held at Rugby Athletics Track and comprises sessions from 9am to 10am on Saturday mornings and on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30pm. No experience is necessary, the course takes participants towards the 5K goal in easy stages. For more details please click here

Development groups
We provide a development schedule for those wishing to improve their speed and confidence over 5K, and a gradual step-up schedule for those wishing to tackle 10K runs or longer distances.
We run twice-weekly coach-supported sessions for these groups, and runners self- organise for a third session if they wish.
New members who can run 5K and wish to improve are most welcome to joint these groups.
