Rugby Primary Schools Athletics Championships

A huge THANKYOU to everyone who gave up their time to help at The Rugby Primary School Champs on Friday and for all the hard work in preparation, especially to Adam Wright for mammoth efforts with the entries! What a great day we had! 23 Schools, 1200+ excited children, lots of medals & great performances from club athletes and a host of talent waiting to be recruited to our junior ranks. Results will be posted on our website and a full report with photos in this week’s Advertiser. Even the sun shone in the afternoon. Great to be broadcast live on Rugby FM this year and we had tweets from Grant Taylor’s claim to fame..Olympic Medallist Katharine Merry!
