    Stephen Marks led home Rugby & Northampton AC in the Corby 5 miles when he finished in 5^th place with a time of 27 mins 44secs. 

    The race, which is held in East Carlton and finishes in the Country Park, was the fourth event in the East Midlands Grand Prix Series and Marks went one place better than he did in the Rugby 6.

    In 12^th spot was Daniel Mould on 28:38 followed by Daniel Williams on 30:30 for 27^th position.

    Completing the Senior Team, which finished 2^nd on the night was M45 Veteran Nigel Roberts who claimed 5^th in his age category with 31:03 for 33^rd overall. 

    Alan Mould clinched 3^rd in the M55 race on 34:31 and in the same position in the M20 age group and just four seconds behind was William McMurtrie.

    While Laurence Scott  (  M50 8^th ) in 34:43 and Alex McMurtrie (M45 10^th ) in 35:24 closed off the Veteran team in 6^th place.

     Two ladies took part for R&N with Helen Jones recording 38:32 for 23^rd overall and 5^th in the F45’s and two places adrift Kate Williams was 4^th over 55 with 39:01.
