Rugby & Northampton AC consolidated their overall second position in the West Midlands cross country league with an outstanding set of results in the latest round of the competition, held at Newbold Revell.
Individually their were dominant victories for Bella Lamb in the U11 girls and Olivia McGhee in the U15 girls race. The U11 boys were led home by David Allen in second position, with Miles Taylor just behind in 5th.
Madeleine Jacks raced to am impressive 7th position in the U17W race – whilst Louis Starr led home the R & N contingent to a impressive team victory in the U17M event.
The performance of the day, however, came from the U13 girls’ team who dominated the race, finishing with no less than 6 athletes in the first twenty place. Congratulations to all those that took part
