R & N young endurance runners took part in the third in the series of West Midlands cross country league races and finished with a surprise victory over current leaders Wolverhampton & Bilston.
The U11 boys had a superb race with no less than 5 boys finishing in the first 20m places. The boys were led home by Alexander Kampta in third position. The U17 men continued with their unprecedented run of victories with Lois Starr leading home the team in 4th position overall with 4 others close behind.
Bella Lamb finished in an outstanding second position in the U11 girls race whilst Madeleine Jacks finished in 5th position in the U17W race.
The outstanding individual performance of the day came from Olivia McGhee in the U15 Girls race, as she tore away from the field to finish an emphatic winner. The team performance of the day, came from the U13G, however. Bella Lamb led the charge as she finished in the bronze medal position with Elsie Bennett, Peyton Almond, Claudia Terrell and Esther Hutchins Morant all close behind
