On Sunday 10 athletes from Rugby and Northampton Athletics Club started the Coventry Half marathon alongside over 3500 other competitors. Despite windy conditions the runners produced a whole succession of personal bests and outstanding performance reflecting the hard work put in by all.

Mike Andrews continued his phenomenal run of form in finishing in 81 mins 50 secs – again over two minutes better than his previous best. Next in was Alistair McDonnell in 82 mins 46 secs – over 3 minutes better than he had ever run ! Dean Oldfield continued the theme, this time taking a staggering 4 mins from his best time, as he finished closely behind in 83 mins 14 secs.
