Rugby & Northampton Senior team took part in the third Birmingham League Cross Country race of the year and it proved to be another highly successful day. The field was extremely strong with runners from the Universities dominating proceedings. For R & N, Haydn Arnall led the way. After finishing in 23rd position in the previous race, Haydn was hopeful of a top 20 finish but he exceeded all expectations, cutting through the field on the final lap to finish in an outstanding 8th position. Adam Wright continued his excellent cross country form to finish in 25th position with William Gardner was just behind in 37th place. The scoring team was completed by Josph Commerford, Lewis Cherry and Noah Bennett with Mark Johnson, Richard Thomas and Sam Jackson providing excellent support.
The final round of the series sees the race return to Abington Park in Northampton, where R & N will look for a strong showing on home soil.
