The club track and field records have been updated for all performances up to the end of July 2014. There are eight more records, five individual ones and three relay records. In addition, the names of the U20 Women who broke the club record in June have been added.
Georgina Woodward has broken the long standing U13 Girls 70mHurdles record held by Kerry Murch since 2007, reducing it by two one hundredths of a second to 11.68. In the U15 Boys 300m, Tom Jasper has reduced the record to 36.51, whilst Harry Hughes has taken the U20 Men 2000m Steeplechase record to add to his existing record for U17 Men for the same event. In the field events, the superb Craig Murch has slightly improved his own Senior Hammer record to 63.72m and young Zoe Gardner has claimed the U11 Girls High Jump record with a leap of 1.23m.
Three relay records were broken, all in the sprints, again showing what a wealth of talent the club has. These went to the 4 x 100 teams of U11 Girls, U17 Women and U17 Men.
