Annual General Meeting
The AGM has been rescheduled and will now take place as a Zoom Meeting, all members should have received an email with a link to the meeting with the password. Please try to login a few minutes early as you will need to download the Zoom application to your device
A Special General Meeting and the Club’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 6 May 2020 as an on-line meeting using Zoom. The Special General Meeting will start at 19:30 and will be followed by the Annual General Meeting.
This on-line meeting replaces the meeting originally arranged for Monday 16 March 2020 at the Watford Village Hall, which was postponed due to the worsening Coronavirus situation. The Agenda is the same as for the original meeting and includes a Special General Meeting for us to consider changes to the Club Constitution.
Please find attached the Agenda for the meeting, a document detailing the changes the Committee propose to the constitution and the minutes of last year’s AGM.
As you will see from the agenda, there are two unfilled places for Northampton representatives on the Committee. If you would like to volunteer for one of these places, please let us know.
We expect that it will not be so easy to deal with questions as at a face-to-face meeting, so please send questions in advance where possible.
We hope that sufficient members will be able to join the meeting to satisfy the usual minimum requirement for a quorum (20 members). However, as this is our second attempt at holding the meeting and it is now later than required by the Constitution, then considering the special circumstances at present, that adjourning the meeting is unlikely to result in a larger attendance and there are no controversial items on the agenda, we intend to treat those who do attend on 6 May as a quorum irrespective of the number.
Please send your apologies and/or questions to jenny@eatonmywords.co
