It is with great sadness that we have to announce the death of Ken Horton.
For all those that new Ken he worked tirelessly for the club while on the committee, in meetings with the Cobblers over the future of Sixfields Stadium.
Many other people will best remember him from the Monday night circuit training at Kingsthorpe Upper School in which he instructed for many years.
Ken also competed for the club in the Northampton Phoenix years in the Birmingham XC League as well as being a timekeeper who regularly turned out for track and field meetings. In 1998 he won the “Roy Johnson” memorial trophy for Clubman of the year.
Our thoughts are with his family at this very sad time.
