Track & Field

The Club currently compete as a combined Men’s & Ladies team in Division 1 of the Midland Track & Field League. This league is open to athletes of age 17 upwards, including Masters. The Midland League has clubs from a wide area stretching from Bristol in the South-West to Stoke in the North and includes some of the country’s leading clubs. The Club completed a highly successful 2013 season and finished as runners up to Birchfield in Division 1, confirming our status as one of the top Midlands track and field clubsRachael Pearce

There are four matches each season.  There are six clubs in each division with the top two teams being promoted and bottom two being relegated. This ensures a competitive league with close matches where both high quality individual performances and teamwork are required. Each match has a full range of events for men & women with two competitors per event (A & B string), with more points being awarded in the A race.

The Club are always looking to strengthen the team both in terms of quality and depth and can offer quality coaching in all events. If you want to learn more about us please contact us via the “Join Today” link above.   Rugby & Northampton are well known for their team spirit and we can promise you a warm welcome to our club.
